Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your TextDigo account at any time, right from your dashboard. The request is handled automatically by our system, with no manual step.

How to request deletion

    Sign in, then open Settings, Security.

  2. 2

    Click "Delete my account" and confirm.

  3. 3

    That is all. The deletion is scheduled and runs automatically.

What happens next

Right away

Your account is locked

You are signed out immediately and can no longer sign in. The account enters a 7-day waiting period.

For 7 days

Safety period

Your data is kept but inaccessible. This delay protects against an accidental request. You can cancel from the link we email you, or by contacting support.

On day 7

Permanent, automatic deletion

An automated job erases all of your data. This step cannot be undone.

Deletion is permanent. Once the delay has passed, your data can no longer be restored.

Ready to delete your account?

You start the request yourself from your account security settings.

Data that is erased

Deletion covers your profile, your sign-in credentials, your conversations and messages, your contacts and your connected channels. Some accounting and billing records may be kept longer where the law requires it. They are then isolated and used only for that obligation.

If you sign in with Facebook

When you sign in with Facebook, we only store the identifier, name and email address linked to your account. You can remove TextDigo access from Facebook, under Settings, Apps and Websites. Removing the app also triggers deletion of that data on our side.
